Risks and mistakes provide value

Allow children to make them and they'll reap the rewards.

Children have one kind of silliness

As you well know, and grown-ups have another kind.

Why fit in when you were born to stand out

Kids deserve the right to think that they can change the world.

Welcome to

ACS Minininjas 4-6 year olds ...

MAGFA:Martial Arts, Games and Fitness Academy runs a number of martial and fitness related activities. ACS Mini Ninjas is not a martial arts club, as we feel young children don’t understand the complexities of martial arts training and what it represents in terms of complicated practice and safety, however, in essence, ACS MINININJAS is an introduction to martial arts without all that stuffy, disciplined marching up and down boring punching thin air stuff!

We want the kids to have fun, play games and make lots of noise. That said, it’s still important to learn some of the basic values usually associated with a martial arts clubs. At our ACS MiniNinja sessions we use some important guiding principles

  • Fun
  • Safety
  • Respect
  • Social skills development
  • Cognitive development

Everything we do is geared towards the children’s safety, this means that instructors and coaches must recognise elements or conditions of unsafe play quickly and halt proceedings accordingly to address the situation. In many instances, because the message is key to all activities undertaken in our Minininja sessions, the children will often highlight or address an issue of safety themselves and of course there's the added benefit derived from exercise.

In addition participants have a system of keywords that they learn which form part of a certificate award system.

ACS Minininja is an all inclusive programme run by ACS MAGFA, who also run martial arts classes for children and adults. Contact us now - you won't regret it!

"I bring my Son to ACS Magfa's Mini Ninjas lessons weekly. He absolutely loves coming to the class every week. My Son normally struggles to engage with children at his school but at Mini Ninjas he really gets stuck in and enjoys himself with the other children. Sensei David works hard to deliver a class that's fun but that also incorporates early basic self defence skills.. Highly recommended!"
